Basil Syrup Recipe
Combine water, sugar and basil leaves in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and let steep for 1 hour.
Pour through a mesh strainer to remove basil leaves. Let cool.
Add vodka, grapefruit juice, basil syrup and a splash of Fresca. (Replace Vodka with Fresca for a non-alcoholic version)
